Sonia Thomas

I am a painter, sculptor and printmaker, living and working in London. Absorbed by exploring interior worlds, my work is largely figurative, based on observation and reworked through imagination and memory. In my work, I am fascinated by the emotional and psychological space occupied by human beings,  exploring the boundaries between the internal and external world, the divisions between self and others, and how we move across these boundaries.  At the moment I am working in large scale monotypes, plaster, bronze, clay, paper and fabric sculptures.
