Induction session

In your first session you will be given an induction. This covers an introduction to the equipment and Health and Safety in the studio. The induction takes about an hour. You are then free to print for the rest of the session. Please bring any materials you will need to the session.

How to book

Open access sessions must be booked online in advance. It is not possible to book by phone or email. We recommend you book one to two weeks ahead. Click on one of the links below to be taken to the appropriate booking page.

People who are attending an open access session in the ELP studio for the first time must also purchase an induction at the time of booking (this is marked on the booking webpage as Induction £8). The induction costs £20, including the session, therefore it costs £8 plus the £12 session fee for Thursdays and £5 plus the £15 session fee for Saturdays.

After you have selected your session, you will need to pay, using credit or debit card, or Paypal. You must pay in advance and this is not refundable.

After you have booked a session you will receive an email from Space confirming your booking in the week before your open access session.

Please email Catherine at studio@eastlondonprintmakers.co.uk if you have any questions or experience any difficulty with using the new system.

How to pay for materials during your session

Please pay in person when you attend a session. We accept cash or cheques only. Please bring sufficient payment to cover any materials you may need.

Assistants

Open access users with a disability that requires assistance may bring another person free of charge, although all assistants will still have to complete an induction. All other assistants will be treated as separate open access users and will have to undergo an induction and pay the full rate.
